Student Housing

Housing for On-Campus Students

If you choose to enroll as an On-Campus student, housing will be available near campus on a first-come, first-served basis. Most rooms are doubles or triples so they are a great opportunity to connect with fellow students. Singles are available but are limited.

Living together allows students to bond, create support systems for work as well as life, and ultimately make lifelong friendships. Students are not required to living in Make School preferred housing, but we strong encourage students to stay in one of our preferred housing options as they are properties that have been pre-approved.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, we are still offering housing for any students who want or need it. We have worked very closely with our preferred housing providers to maintain a safe environment that is close to campus. We will continue to monitor and follow local and state regulations regarding COVID-19.

Our preferred housing options are all located in the heart of San Francisco, which are typically within a 10-15 minute walk from the main Make School campus where classes are held. Our Make School staff members also stay in these preferred housing options and work to build community and support learning. We can’t wait for you to join our community!

If you are moving to San Francisco but want to live outside student housing, we encourage you to reach out to our student and alumni network for housing connections. There are shared apartments full of Make School students and alums throughout the Bay Area.
